Allstate Donates to Help 'Revive the Y'

The North Suburban YMCA announced today that Allstate has made a donation in support of the "Revive the Y" campaign. Allstate, an active community partner of the NSYMCA since 2007, supports the Y through volunteer efforts, a board position, and sponsorship of community activities.

"We've always been proud supporters of the Y, and we hope this donation will inspire others to give to this great organization so it can thrive during these challenging times. We're committed to our community and we want to ensure that the Y has the resources it needs to continue to offer transformational services to our community," said Kamal Natarajan, Vice President and CIO of Allstate Claims.

Allstate has partnered with the NSYMCA on Fall Fest, Y Trivia Night, Healthy Kids Day, Seniorpalooza, and the Strong Kids Fundraiser. Funds raised at these events provide financial assistance scholarships to community members. In addition, Allstate's donation provides much needed assistance with increased operations and staffing costs, allowing the Y to continue providing free and subsidized programming.

"Most importantly," said Kathy Fielding CEO of the North Suburban YMCA, "this donation helps our Y maintain services to the children, seniors, and families in our community who rely on us most. We are extremely grateful for the deep commitment Allstate has shown to the North Suburban YMCA and the communities they serve."
