Huntley church to host outdoor worship Oct. 10 and 24

On Saturdays, Oct. 10 and 24, Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley will hold outdoor worship at 5 p.m. in the church parking lot, 10805 Main St.

The parking lot service, known as "Saturday Night Worship," will take place via a local radio transmission to parked cars set to 100.7 FM.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

Participants are asked to arrive and park before 5 p.m. and follow guidelines for parking which will be directed by parking attendants.

Social distancing guidelines must be adhered during services. Participation can be done by sitting in cars or in a chair outdoors, by maintaining a six-foot distance from others and wearing facial masks.

Sunday services at 9 and 10:45 a.m. continue to stream live online on the church website or www.facebook.com/ShepherdofthePrairie/.

Limited reservations for in-person Sunday worship services are open on Mondays each week at bit.ly/RSVPSOTP.
