Mill Creek bridge in Geneva closed for repairs Sept. 21-25

The Mill Creek bridge, located on the linear trail at the corner of Fabyan Parkway and Peck Road in Geneva, will be closed for repairs, Sept. 21-25.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will be replacing the bridge decking. There will be no public access through this stretch of trail, during this time. Repairs will begin Monday, Sept. 21 and are expected to be completed on Friday, Sept. 25, pending weather conditions.

Signs will be placed on the trail to notify the public of the total trail closure. The Forest Preserve District asks trail users to exercise caution and be mindful of the closure during this time.
