Glenbard District 87 congratulates National Merit semifinalists
Glenbard Township High School District 87 is proud to announce that seven Glenbard students have been named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition.
Semifinalists include Glenbard East student Ali Siddiqui; Glenbard North students Mitchell James Oinonen and Vinay Mathew Varghese Vellara; and Glenbard West students Nikola Jukic, Gavin Schilling, Maya Umlauf and Zoe Umlauf.
Semifinalists must advance to finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards, receiving a recommendation from their principal and earning SAT scores that confirm the earlier qualifying test performance.
