League of Women Voters Aurora Area to host voter registration Aug. 15

The League of Women Voters Aurora Area will sponsor voter registration Saturday, Aug. 15, from noon to 4 p.m. outside McCarty Mills Taproom, 140 S. River St. in Aurora.

Face masks are required.

Information will be provided about ballots, voting dates and voter education.

Young adults who will be 18 years old by Nov. 3 may register to vote. League of Women Voters registration of students at schools was canceled due to COVID-19.

Bring a current driver's license or state ID and something else with your name on it. New to Aurora and lived in your home for at least 30 days? You should register to vote too! If you don't have a new driver's license, bring something showing your name with your new address, the last four digits of your Social Security number and something else with your name on it.

Show up to register or stay for tacos and drinks!
