Barrington's White House to hold virtual poetry reading

Barrington's White House and the Barrington Cultural Commission will present another free cultural event in its online series, Virtual Arts and Culture.

Join virtually at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, for a poetry reading aired from Barrington's White House. The program will feature 10 poems by local poets. Poems were submitted that reflected the theme "House and Home, Place and Dwelling."

Future poetry submissions will be encouraged within the next several months, and poetry writers will have a chance to read their own poems at Barrington's White House, where they will be filmed within guidelines for COVID-19 restrictions.
