Get orders in for mum sale to benefit Glen Ellyn History Center

From Wednesday, Sept. 9 through Saturday, Sept. 12, the Glen Ellyn Historical Society is presenting their annual Mum Sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone come and purchase these beautiful fall flowers. The sale location is the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main St.

To follow COVID-19 safety guidelines, the sale is organized in a new way. Pre-orders are available now until Friday, Aug. 28. Call (630) 469-1867, Tuesday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Call ahead on the day you want to pickup or to arrange contactless pickup. Deliveries are made the same week.

For purchasers who live in Wheaton, Lombard, Glendale Heights and Carol Stream, there is no charge for home delivery.

Cost is $15 for each mum plant or three for $40.

Mums also can be purchased at https://www.gehs.org/mum-sale.html.

Colors can be chosen and this purchasing is offered until Aug. 28. Color preference is available when the order is submitted.

Club members will contact you by e-mail or phone within a few days to verify the order and to find out if you want to pick up your mums or have them delivered.

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society appreciates the interest and support from everyone.
