Step It Up for Clearbrook, Virtually, on September 26

As a result of the pandemic, Clearbrook's 2nd Annual Step It Up for Clearbrook will take place virtually on Sept. 26. Staying active and healthy, both mentally and physically, as everyone adapts to the new normal of social distancing is so important! Lace up your gym shoes and join Clearbrook on the sidewalk, treadmill, or trail-you choose the location! A bib and shirt are included in your registration fee ($25). Medals are available for an additional $7.

Clearbrook is essential to the lives of an at-risk population. They empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to embrace their potential. Clearbrook is one of the only organizations to deliver services for the intellectually and developmentally disabled in a multifaceted way, covering all ages, issues and levels of severity. Their individuals, some with very complex medical needs, cannot live independently. The nonprofit currently has 400+ individuals in their residential care.

Since the pandemic began, Clearbrook has spent $1.3 million on keeping individuals and staff safe, healthy and prepared. Because of this astonishing and unbudgeted amount of money, the challenge is even greater for Clearbrook to raise the desperately needed funds. Step It Up for Clearbrook is one of their largest annual fundraising events, bringing together nearly 500 people. The full and generous support for the Clearbrook community has meant so much to so many during these turbulent times. Join them virtually on September 26 - they will be sure to send you a virtual high-five! Register at Step.Clearbrook.org.
