The Ear, Nose & Throat Care Center Adds Esteemed Clinical Audiologist to Roster

The Ear, Nose & Throat Care Center is pleased to announce the addition of esteemed clinical audiologist, Dr. Shannon Vokac, to its audiologic branch of health care services.

An expert in hearing loss, hearing aids, and cochlear implants, Dr. Vokac will be performing audiological services including hearing evaluations, hearing aid services, cochlear implant and bone anchored hearing aid (BAHA) activations and follow-up care.

From a young age, Dr. Vokac was interested in working with people who need her help most. The younger sister of a sibling with autism, she was inspired to work with individuals who have a disability or special needs. She loves having the ability to develop individual relationships with every patient that she meets at The Ear, Nose & Throat Care Center.

A graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in communication sciences and disorders, Dr. Vokac earned her doctorate of audiology at Northern Illinois University and completed four externships, including one at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center's Illinois Neurological Institute where she had the opportunity to master a wide variety of services.
