Rolling Meadows church cancels annual Corn Fest and Craft Fair

The Community Church of Rolling Meadows recently announced that it will not be holding its annual Corn Fest and Craft Fair this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A tradition since 1957, this popular event has been a source of community fellowship for more than 60 years.

What began as a gathering for church members grew to an event serving a meal to between 2,000 and 3,000 people, which includes all the corn you can eat. A craft fair was added 20 years ago and, more recently, live music by local artists was included throughout the day.

Planners anticipate being able to hold this event again in 2021.
