Hanover Twp. Food Pantry offering curbside pickup

The Hanover Township Food Pantry, 7431 Astor Ave., Hanover Park, is open for curbside pickup to serve residents in need.

Pantry users may call ahead to place an order or will be greeted at the entrance with a list of items available. Township staff will carry supplies out to vehicles.

The pantry is open from 1-3 p.m. Monday; 1-6 p.m. Tuesday; 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Food pantry donations can be dropped off at the Town Hall, Senior Center or Astor Avenue Community Center (Food Pantry).

Most needed items include: canned soup, meats and other meals, pasta, pasta sauce, canned or frozen vegetables, macaroni and cheese, granola bars, milk, cereal, peanut butter, bread and rice.

Township staff can also unload donations from vehicles brought to township facilities.
