Laura Curtis joins fellow Kane Co. Republicans in distributing Community Care Packages

Laura Curtis, small business owner and candidate for State Representative, invites community members in need to receive a community care package during a drive-in distribution event in Elgin and St. Charles.

"My team and I are excited to coordinate with Kane County elected officials and candidates to distribute free Community Care Packages to those in need. Many families are going through a hard time and are unsure of their financial future. I am proud of the compassionate response from our community. Families are reaching out to their neighbors in need and we are grateful we can help support these efforts," said Curtis.

The Care Package will include: Oberweis Dairy milk, protective masks, hand sanitizer, food items, and toilet paper. There will be at least 500 bags distributed at each location, until supplies run out.

The first event will be this Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the New Life Covenant Church at 2250 W. Highland Ave. in Elgin and the second event at the Oberweis for Congress St. Charles Campaign Office at 1700 Lincoln Hwy., Suite J, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Laura Curtis is the Republican candidate for State Representative in the 49th House District. Curtis' community-centric approach to public service is bolstered by her experience as a North Aurora Trustee and small business owner. Laura and her husband live in North Aurora with their two children.

The 49th is a suburban district in Illinois that includes parts of Aurora, Bartlett, Batavia, Elgin, Geneva, Naperville, North Aurora, South Elgin, St. Charles, Warrenville, Wayne, and West Chicago.
