Vitality Women's Physical Therapy & Wellness Launches Virtual Running Club

At a time when enhancing physical fitness is more important than ever, Vitality Women's Physical Therapy & Wellness is offering a virtual running club to provide women of all ages with the professional guidance, resources, and motivation to start moving with confidence.

Designed for women who have had a baby, recovered from an injury, or simply want to improve their approach to running, the Vitality Women's Running Club is an 8-week, virtual program presented by physical therapists who specialize in women's health. Thanks to their specialized training, these therapists understand how women's bodies change throughout various stages of life as well as the common issues women experience during their lifetime. They have used this knowledge to customize a running and strength program especially for women.

With the first program cycle beginning on Monday, May 11, Vitality Women's Running Club participants will have access to a weekly calendar that outlines exercises, including running and strength training. In addition, members will receive eight circuit-type, 30-minute exercise routines that require no equipment. In specially created videos, Vitality therapists will demonstrate the optimal form for each exercise and will include options for modification. Members can also join a private Running Club Facebook group to engage with other women for support and to help each other stay on track toward running and fitness goals.

Anyone who is interested in joining Vitality Women's Running Club or who would like additional information on the cost or member benefits should contact Ariana Jones, PT, DPT, at Ariana@vitalitywomenspt.com or check out Vitality's website: https://<URL destination="http://www.vitalitywomenspt.com/womens-running-club ">www.vitalitywomenspt.com/womens-running-club

Women who are not sure if they are ready to begin a running program due to previous injury or frequent urine leakage with activity can email Ariana to access the free, one-hour webinar "Ready to Run?" This webinar discusses running principles, pelvic floor anatomy, conditions postpartum women may experience with return to exercise, and additional information about the Vitality Women's Running Club.
