Get a Batavia Public Library eCard online

During the stay-at-home order, residents of the Batavia Public Library District who are not yet cardholders can get an eCard through the website at bataviapubliclibrary.org.

The eCard gives patrons immediate and free access to the library's online resources, including downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks. The eCard also allows users to download or stream movies, TV shows, and music.

It also gives access to all online resources that are available through the library's website including Tutor.com which provides on-demand tutoring, homework help, test preparation, and writing assistance in over 60 subjects for students from kindergarten through college.

Residents of the Batavia Public Library District can apply for an eCard by visiting the library website, bataviapubliclibrary.org, and clicking on "Get Your Card Online."

Those seeking a card will need to provide their name, address, email address, phone, and date of birth. The process is designed to take just minutes. The eCards are valid for 90 days from the date of signup.

Those who hold a Batavia Public Library card already have access to the online services and do not need to apply for an eCard.

Library cards that expired or will expire between Jan. 1 and June 30 have been automatically extended to July 4, 2020.
