The 32nd Annual Senior Celebration Day 2020 is Tuesday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This fantastic free event will be held at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, in Arlington Heights.

"Senior Celebration Day is an opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate all the amazing contributions older adults in our area have made over the years," shared Chris Gorcik, District 214 Community Education Supervisor.

Visitors can expect to learn about services and businesses of particular interest to seniors, take part in a variety of quick and painless health and wellness screenings, and of course have some fun!

Rosie & The Rivets are the headline artists and the Dixieland Jazz Cats are returning as the morning act.

Advocate Health, Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) and the Mount Prospect Lions Club will provide free health screenings.

More than 60 exhibitors will be available to answer questions and offer seniors information related to home healthcare, assisted living, local park districts, townships, healthcare systems and senior centers.

Admission tickets are required for entry. Free tickets are available at local senior centers, Elk Grove and Wheeling Township offices, park districts within District 214 boundaries, the District 214 Community Education office or on the day of the event at the door. A $6 lunch is available by Tailgate Caterers.
