District 6 Youth Leaders' Global Outreach
The Beulah Park Youth Leadership Team extended their help during their recent global campaigns. After learning about Haiti, students organized a Bake sale to assist Haiti with hunger relief during Parent Teacher Conferences. Leaders Kaiden, Shannon, and Davin then created a slideshow presentation to celebrate the success of the Bake Sale as well as to promote their Pennies for Puerto Rico campaign. Their efforts will help raise money for recovery efforts needed due to the recent earthquakes in Puerto Rico. The District 6 Technology and Communication Department helped students connect with Puerto Rico so they could interview the daughters of Beulah Park staff member, Mrs. Cruz, about the devastation in their country.
