Clearbrook to Shine Bright at Annual Shining Star Ball, Black-Tie Gala Honors Peter Billmeyer

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL - A dazzling crowd of Chicago's elite is expected to mix and mingle at the elegant Four Seasons Hotel Chicago (120 E. Delaware Place) at Clearbrook's 32nd Annual Shining Star Ball. On Friday, April 24, more than 300 people are expected to attend the black-tie gala with WGN radio host, Roe Conn, serving as master of ceremonies. This year's honoree will be Peter Billmeyer, Co-Founder of Bespoke Commercial Real Estate. Peter has an intense passion for the nonprofit world, improving the lives of children and adults living with a disability. Peter's company has become one of Chicagoland's leading advocates in working with therapy; nonprofits, schools and clinics.

As a fantastic partner to Clearbrook, Peter helped facilitate a new residence for the individuals they serve on Equestrian Connection's beautiful 16 acres in Mettawa. He also chairs and revived Clearbrook's Challenge Golf Outing. Since 2015, the golf outing has raised over $500,000 to support Clearbrook's mission.

Proceeds from the Shining Star Ball will help underwrite Clearbrook's residential and day programs, as well as therapies for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by Clearbrook. These services define Clearbrook's commitment to creating opportunities that change lives. Benefits may be seen daily or over time and as clients gain confidence and experience, they reach new skill levels and become more independent.

"The Shining Star Ball has been Clearbrook's premiere fundraising event since its inception," said Clearbrook President Tony Di Vittorio. "It's so wonderful to see original attendees now bringing their children and grandchildren to share in the fun. The evening's festivities have truly become multi-generational with entertainment for all ages."

The elegant evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, a live auction including a stay at the Ritz Carlton in Vienna, a skybox suite at Wrigley to see the Cubs take on the Red Sox, and much more. Music is provided by The Dan Hayes Orchestra.

Tickets to the black-tie gala are $500; sponsorships are available. For more information, visit www.clearbrook.org/ssb.
