Schaumburg workshop to focus on paying off college loans
A free college workshop titled "Becoming Debt-Free: Strategies for Paying Off College Loans," will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
The workshop is presented by My College Planning Team. Parents of high school students who may need a college loan or anyone who already has student or parent loans will find the presentation of interest. They will learn how to avoid too much student debt, how debt may be forgiven and how to get rid of student debt faster.
Parents will hear borrowing and repayment strategies and get information about parent PLUS loans as well.
