Lovell health center to host Town Hall meeting Feb. 18

All are invited to the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center's Community Town Hall from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the main hospital in North Chicago.

Recent changes to The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act will be the topic. Additionally, the town hall is an opportunity to learn about Department of Veterans Affairs and TRICARE health care programs and services, and to participate in a question and answer session led by Lovell FHCC Director Dr. Robert Buckley and Deputy Director/Commanding Officer Capt. Gregory Thier.

From 12:30 to 1 p.m., there will also be a more in-depth discussion for attendees with a leader from the Veterans Benefits Administration about the Blue Water Navy law.

Lovell FHCC is at 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago. The event will be held in the Community Living Center, Building 134, Room C108, accessible through the main hospital entrance.

Lovell FHCC is the nation's only fully integrated medical facility of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Defense. It serves veterans alongside active duty military personnel and their families at its main hospital in North Chicago.

Lovell FHCC also operates outpatient clinics in McHenry, Evanston and Kenosha, Wisconsin, and four Great Lakes Naval Station clinics.
