CCU Introduces Five Newly Recruited Managers

Gurnee, IL, February 11, 2020: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $1.3 Billion, Waukegan, IL) continues to provide outstanding employment opportunities in the northern Illinois area. Over the past few months, the 90-year old credit union has added five (5) new-hires to management positions. CCU also announced internal promotions to management positions for five (5) current employees at the credit union. Each of these ten (10) management positions will play an integral part in the success of CCU's Business Plan.

According to Cheryl Kubas, CCU's Vice President of Talent Management, "The credit union has experienced phenomenal growth and that enables more opportunities for both new hires and our current employees. Two of the new Managers will lead the Credit Union's highly successful Contact Center: Dyana Horbach as Manager and Karen Farris as Assistant Manager. Phillip Wilburn joins Team CCU as Member Experience Manager at the Palatine Service Center, where he's responsible for assuring his location delivers the superior Member service. David Speidel is the new Fraud Manager, a position growing in importance daily as "scam artists" find unique new ways to perpetrate financial fraud. Finally, Amber Satter joins the Human Resources Department as Director of Total Rewards, where she will be responsible for all aspects of employee compensation and benefits.

Consumers Credit Union also provides outstanding opportunities for current employees to earn promotions to management positions. Cheryl Kubas noted that 23% - nearly one in four - employees were promoted or transferred to new opportunities expanding their skillsets. "The credit union is very proud of the large number of opportunities for advancement that we can offer to our employees," continued Kubas. One such example is Alexandra (Jana) Martinez, who was recently promoted from Training Specialist in the Human Resources Department to Member Experience Manager (MXM) at the Gurnee Service Center.

Another four (4) employees were promoted within their current departments. They include Gary Marconi, promoted from Facilities Manager to Director of Facilities; Judith Serrano, promoted from Loan Servicing Representative to Loan Servicing Assistant Manager; Graciela Hernandez, promoted from Member Experience Representative Lead to Assistant Member Experience Manager (AMXM) in Gurnee; and, Miguel Reyes, promoted from AMXM to Member Experience Manager II at CCU's Mundelein location.
