Renew your wedding vows at Medieval Times' ceremony

Medieval Times is extending an invitation to area couples to renew their wedding vows during a Valiant Valentine's Day celebration at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the Schaumburg Castle.

The first 50 couples to register for the nuptial festivities will receive two complimentary tickets to that afternoon's (5:30 p.m.) Valentine's Day Dinner & Tournament, along with two souvenir champagne flutes, one light-up rose and a framed commemorative photo.

The Schaumburg Castle's Valiant Valentine's Day (1:30 p.m.) event will celebrate the centuries-old link between Midwestern couples with a brief vow renewal ceremony officiated by Medieval Times' Queen Maria Isabella, and a post-ceremony wedding cake and champagne reception in the castle's Great Hall.

Couples interested in participating in this free event must register by visiting medievaltimes.com/vows. Registration is limited.

Ceremony attire is at the discretion of individual couples. Medieval-themed costumes, traditional wedding apparel and street clothes are welcomed. Complimentary admission to the evening dinner and tournament is contingent upon participation in the afternoon vow renewal ceremony.

Located just off I-90, in Schaumburg, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is the only entertainment venue of its type in the Midwest. The colossal stone castle beckons guests of all ages to enjoy a live jousting tournament filled with horsemanship and falconry, knights engaged in displays of strength and skill and a four-course feast.

All couples are encouraged to attend the Valentine's Day tournament using the code VDAY20, pricing the show at $110 per couple and including a package consisting of two branded flutes and champagne (nonalcoholic beverage will be served to minors), one framed photo and one light-up rose.
