Register for Hanover Twp. tutoring program
The Hanover Township Tutoring Services Program kicks off Feb. 11 at the Town Hall, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett.
For $45 per semester, the program offers board certified teachers for students in grades two through 12, who can teach and assist students with their academics.
Last spring, 170 students participated in the township's tutoring program.
Tutoring groups are developed based on age, subject matter and learning needs that are identified by referring teachers. Children who attend regularly and bring their school materials/assignments to each session improve in academic performance and become more self-confident.
