Bloomingdale Garden Club to host annual meeting Jan. 21

The Bloomingdale Garden Club will hold its annual business meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

The agenda items include election of officers, review of 2019 activities, upcoming events for 2020 (including the popular annual flower and plant sale in May), and decisions on where to direct the charitable donations.

The club is now celebrating its 57th year. Started in April 1963 by seven ardent gardeners and neighbors, the club has grown considerably throughout its history, and today's members enjoy programs, speakers, workshops and field trips.

Visitors are welcome. Come to the meeting and meet the members. They welcome gardeners of all ages and experience.

Social time begins at 6:15 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Faith Community Church, 118 First St. in Bloomingdale.
