Hanover Township tutoring program starts Feb. 11

The Hanover Township Tutoring Services Program kicks off on Feb. 11 at the township hall, 250 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett.

For $45 per semester, the program offers board certified teachers for students in grades 2 through 12, who can teach and assist students with their academics.

Last spring, 170 students participated in the township's tutoring program.

Tutoring groups are developed based on age, subject matter, and learning needs identified by referring teachers. Children who attend regularly and bring their school materials and assignments to each session improve in academic performance and become more self-confident.

For questions about the Hanover Township tutoring program, or to register, please feel free to call (630) 483-5799 or email rdiaz@hanover-township.org.
