Thrive D205 to discuss what does legal marijuana for teens

Thrive D205 and the City of Elmhurst Commission on Youth will present "Legal Marijuana: What Does This Mean for Teens?" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, in the large meeting room at Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Ave.

Matthew Quinn, a licensed clinical professional counselor and certified alcohol and drug counselor, presents the changing landscape of marijuana and vaping use and legislation in Illinois.

He will offer guidance to parents for open discussions about this topic with their teens.

Elmhurst Unit District 205 and City of Elmhurst officials also will be on hand to provide local statistics and assist with questions. This program is suitable for parents and teens.
