Chicago Magazine names three District 300 schools as 'Best Public Schools'

Chicago Magazine has named three Community Unit District 300 schools among the best public schools in the Chicago area suburbs. The schools are Algonquin Lakes Elementary, 1401 Compton Drive in Algonquin; Eastview Elementary, 540 Longwood Drive in Algonquin, and Neubert Elementary, 1100 Huntington Drive in Algonquin.

The methodology used to determine the rankings were based on Illinois State Board of Education data from the 2017-2018 academic year, including: Spending Per Pupil; PARCC Reading Attainment Percentage; PARCC Reading Growth; PARCC Math Growth; and attendance.

The school district congratulates staff and students at Algonquin Lakes, Eastview, and Neubert for this achievement. The rankings are a testament to their hard work.
