Hampshire club to discuss future projects

The Hampshire-Henpeck Unit of Home and Community Education will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the Heartland Bank, Route 72 and Warner, Hampshire. Hostesses for this meeting will be Peggy Gross and Claudia Lake. They will be updating the 2020 yearbook and discussing future projects and events.

Mark your calendar for the following dates held at the county extension office, 535 S Randall Road in St. Charles, for "Lessons for Living/Learning 2020."

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, learn about inflammation and arthritis from from 10 to 11 a.m.

On Thursday, April 16, the program will be on medical identify theft from 2 to 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, they will focus on "Communication Challenges and Strategies for Helping People with Dementia" from 2 to 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the topic will be "Understanding the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences" from 10 to 11 a.m.

They wish to extend a big thank you to the Hampshire-Henpeck HCE members, officers, and directors for making the 2019 year a huge success.

Unit members are looking forward to an exciting 2020 year and your input and suggestions are very important in making the 2020 year a rewarding endeavor for all.
