King-Bruwaert House unveils luxury apartment homes in Burr Ridge

King-Bruwaert House proudly announces an exciting, new offering of spacious and beautifully appointed independent living residences conveniently located on our picturesque 35-acre campus in Burr Ridge. Reservations are now being taken for The Gardens of King-Bruwaert House, a 49-unit community of luxury apartment homes with an abundance of amenities and services.

The apartment homes range in size from 880- to 1,460 square feet - featuring bright, open floor plans and large living/dining rooms, kitchens, generous master suites and bathrooms, as well as in-unit washer-dryers. Eight floor plans currently are available with models that include 1- bedroom, 1-bedroom with den, 2-bedroom and 2-bedroom with den options. A secure underground parking garage allows for easy access within the building.

The Gardens of King-Bruwaert House apartment homes feature a Georgian architectural theme - distinctly designed to blend gracefully into a natural, scenic setting. Several units feature exterior balconies and all residents have access to beautiful, landscaped courtyards with outdoor seating. Residents will enjoy an idyllic location where they are just steps away from a 1½-mile walking path that meanders along two ponds, a bridge, gardens, fenced-in dog park and a flowing tributary of Flagg Creek.

An extraordinary lifestyle awaits residents age 60 and better who prioritize a maintenance-free setting, quality care and services and active engagement with social and cultural activities. There's also assurance in having a continuum of care available for the future - with priority admission to assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing for temporary or permanent care. Residents also can take advantage of K-B Nursing at Home services plus an on-site geriatric medical practice managed by DuPage Medical Group.

Residents have access to Wellness and Fitness programs, spa/hair salon services, social gathering and multi-purpose rooms, a fully appointed library, theater and performing arts center, greenhouse, a community garden, as well as a chapel and weekly interfaith services. An enclosed walkway that connects The Gardens to the existing manor home provides individuals easy and temperature-controlled access to all services, activities, and events.

Three different dining venues allow residents to choose menus featuring continental or hearty breakfasts, casual dining brunches and lunches, or full-course dinners with seasonal and savory desserts. Other amenities include weekly housekeeping, scheduled transportation, concierge service and access to a full-time social worker.

"For years we anticipated a campus expansion and conducted independent research to gather feedback on the living options and services considered most desirable for our vibrant and highly reputable community," commented King-Bruwaert House CEO Terri Bowen. "We believe The Gardens of King-Bruwaert House exceeds expectations for individuals who desire an excellent and convenient location, maintenance-free living, personalized care and services, exceptional dining, varied social and Wellness activities and outstanding support services.
