College of Lake County offers 1969 Throwback Rates to selects students attending Virtual Information Session

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the College of Lake County, 50 lucky people who attend the Jan. 6-9 Virtual Information Sessions will receive 3 credit hours at the 1969 tuition rate of only $7 per credit hour. It will cost only $21 to take a class this spring!

"Anyone who attends the sessions will be eligible to win," said Erin Fowles, dean of Enrollment Services. "CLC's regular tuition of $122 per hour is already a bargain compared to other colleges, but for 50 winners, the discount translates to a per-hour savings of $115, or $345 for all three credit hours."

If you're thinking about taking a class, earning a certificate or degree, getting additional training on your current career or changing your career, a virtual information session will help answer your questions. Each 45-minute session will cover applying and enrolling, flexible scheduling and instruction modes, financial aid, student services (from tutoring to child care) and more. "During each session will be an online chat, where participants can ask a CLC recruiters real-time questions," said Jason Sarna, director of Admissions and Recruitment. "With the convenient online offering, a busy working adult can attend virtually and over a lunch hour, eliminating the need to drive to campus in winter weather."

Tune in for one of the daily sessions at noon or 6 p.m. starting Monday, Jan. 6 through Thursday, Jan. 9 to learn more about getting started at CLC. Register to attend the online information session at www.clcillinois.edu/start. Winners will be announced via email.
