Goodly Creatures Theatre puts on 'Ghosts of Christmas Past (Or, Dickens, Capra, and Seuss Walk Into A Bar)'

Goodly Creatures Theatre presents "Ghosts of Christmas Past (Or, Dickens, Capra, and Seuss Walk Into A Bar)" on Friday to Sunday, Dec. 20-22, at Elgin Art Showcase, 164 Division St., Elgin.

This adaptation by Katrina Syrris will be performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20-21, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.

Hindsight is 20/20! In this parody of the age-old Christmas classics we know and love, three of our most prized Christmas creatives duke it out for who left the best legacy. Hot buttered rum and other spirits are imbibed and one question remains: When will they get kicked out of Martini's Bar?

Tickets are $15 or $12 for students and seniors. For tickets, visit www.goodlycreatures.com.

On Saturday, a Christmas after-party will be held in the Martini Room. Get a 10% discount on the show's signature cocktail, The Christmas Spirit, with your ticket.
