Wauconda|On Saturday, November 30th several officers from the Wauconda Police Department came to McDonald's on Liberty Street to engage with the community and give away Free Vanilla Cones.

The officers enjoyed visiting with residents and passing out delicious sweet treats to children of all ages. The reigning area queens showed up to make this event even more special.

This fun, exciting, and unique event brought the Wauconda Police officers and the community together over a delicious McDonald's Vanilla Cone. Even Police Chief Wermes jumped in on the fun by passing out cones to the children that came out to see the officers serving cones.

The event was possible by the generosity of McDonald's Owner/Operator Nondas Plesiotis. Like us on Facebook
