Pioneer Garden and Feed to host Small Business Saturday open house Nov. 30

Join the folks at Pioneer Garden and Feed, 118 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park, for their annual Small Business Saturday Open House!

It has become a tradition for shoppers to shop local on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year it's on Nov. 30.

All day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be free cookies and cider, food samples and giveaways.

The annual bird feeder sale begins that day, so you can feed your feathered friends for less.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the rescue group Catvando will hold a cat adoption. Come visit the kitties and learn more about how one of these adorable cats could complete your family.

Whether you're a longtime customer of this 101-year-old store, or have never been there, come visit Pioneer Garden - and all of your local shops - on Small Business Saturday.
