Celebrate the season at Christ Church's Christmas concerts Dec. 8

On Sunday, Dec. 8, enjoy the songs of the holidays at Christ Church's professional Christmas concerts "CarolFest" at 3 and 6 p.m. at the church, 501 Oak Brook Road in Oak Brook.

This ode to the Christmas season is a family friendly, multimedia concert featuring portions of Handel's "Messiah" as well as familiar holiday carols.

From moving pieces by professional soloists to the heart pounding exuberance of a 100-person choir and 30-piece orchestra, this event celebrates the beauty and majesty of the season.

A cookie and cider reception is held between performances. Child care is provided for children age 4 and younger.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as seats fill up quickly. This event is free and open to the public.

Plan to make this a part of your own family's holiday tradition.
