Shine the brightest for Holiday House Decorating Contest!
Show off your jolliest decorating skills and win the top prize in Schaumburg Park District's Holiday House Decorating Contest!
Schaumburg residents may enter the Holiday House Decorating Contest by submitting the entry form by 9 p.m., Dec. 13 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.
Houses will be awarded prizes based on originality, arrangement, theme and overall presentation. Only the first 10 houses entered for the contest will be judged the evenings of Dec. 17 and 18.
"Those who pour their heart and soul into decorating their homes for the holidays shouldn't miss this opportunity to get recognized for their hard work," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager. "What a joy it is to see holiday lights brighten the neighborhoods and people's spirits!"
Houses may be decorated any time before Dec. 17. Houses must be within Schaumburg Park District boundaries. Winning entrants will be posted on Schaumburg Park District's social media.
Judging will take place during the Holiday House Decorating Tour from 6-8:30 p.m., Dec. 17 and 18. Contest entrants are not eligible to judge.
