Izaak Walton League to learn about Fox Valley Young Marines at Nov. 5 meeting

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Elgin Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America will sponsor a program on the Young Marines of Fox Valley. The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Hanover Township Izaak Walton Center, 899 Jay St., six blocks east of Route 25 in Elgin.

The Young Marines are a national nonprofit youth organization for boys and girls from ages 8 to 18. They are dedicated to helping the community, supporting veteran's and being positive role models. Their volunteers help teach valuable life skills, discipline, teamwork and leadership. The Fox Valley Young Marines received its charter in May 2016.
