Chef's Culinary Challenge raises $160K for West Suburban Community Pantry

Some 325 diners enjoyed appetizers and entrees prepared by 11 suburban chefs competing in the eighth annual Chef's Culinary Challenge to benefit West Suburban Community Pantry.

The event was held Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Chicago Marriott Naperville.

They raised $160,000 to support the West Suburban Community Pantry's mission to provide food and resources to empower persons in DuPage and Will counties to improve their quality of life.

Chef Brett Neubaur of Che Figata in Hotel Arista and Chef Zac Rogers of Elements at Water Street, both of Naperville, took top honors in the guest balloting.
