Fox Valley Area Anglers welcome Chris Taurisano Oct. 22

Fox Valley Area Anglers is a multi-species fishing club, and hosts 10 tournaments and 9 additional fishing outings from April through October. FVAA meetings are held at 7 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Tap House Grill, 3341 W. Main, St. Charles.

Each month, a speakers presents at the meeting. The speakers cover a variety of topics.

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the meeting will feature Chris Taurisano, a lifelong fisherman and local fishing guide. He has been honing his fishing skills since he was a young child, and has been taught by world famous anglers like Al Linder and the In-Fisherman staff when he attended fish camp for 5 years. He has also fished with and learned from Hall of Fame angler Spence Petrose.

For the past several years, Taurisano has had the opportunity to share what he has learned with his clients as a fishing guide. Captain Chris is well known, and a very successful guide in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin region. Captain Chris can put his clients on any freshwater species that swims.

At this month's FVAA meeting, Taurisano will be giving a presentation on multi species fishing in the Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin region. If you fish in this area at all, you won't want to miss this meeting! Bring yourself, bring your friends. This is sure to be an informative presentation!
