Tickets on sale now for Barrington Area TasteFest
Tickets are now on sale for one of the most popular tasting events in the region. The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 16th annual Great Barrington Area TasteFest from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at The Onion Pub & Brewery, 22221 N. Pepper Road, Lake Barrington.
The annual event showcases samples from some of the finest purveyors of food and spirits in the Barrington Area.
Tickets to TasteFest are $35 in advance or $40 at the door and include a night of complimentary sampling from area restaurants, microbrewers, wineries and distillers. The first 400 guests receive a collectible TasteFest glass at the door.
The evening also includes business vendors and live music from the Amy Yassinger Jazz Ensemble. A popular highlight of the evening is the Barrington Bank & Trust Co., N.A., money machine, where guests can step in to grab some fast cash. Guests will also get a chance to cast their vote for the Great Taste Awards for Best Taste, Best Entree, Best Spirit and Best Dessert.
