Westbrook students go on a global adventure, while raising funds for their school

Students from preschool through first grade walked around the world at Westbrook School for Young Learners in Mount Prospect on Oct. 3. It was the annual PTO fundraiser, and this year's walk featured creative stops at places like Niagara Falls, Egypt and the Great Barrier Reef. Students had their passports stamped at each location.

Family members came out to cheer on the enthusiastic explorers as they made their way around the school.

The money raised from Walk for Westbrook will enable the PTO to provide educational and fun assemblies, family events, free books for all students, learning resources and materials for teachers throughout the year.
