CLC Music department announces fall 2019 concerts

This fall, College of Lake County musicians will present eight concerts featuring music that appeals to a variety of tastes.

From swinging jazz and soothing classical instrumental works to modern choral works and gospel songs, each concert is programmed to include crowd-pleasers that also challenge the ensembles' students and community members.

Fall concerts begin with the Fall Jazz Ensemble Concert Oct. 6 and conclude with four holiday concerts in December.

"CLC's 10 ensembles are brimming with talent, and the concerts provide all local music lovers with an opportunity to hear excellent live music, performed in a beautiful theater for a very low price," said Dr. Michael Flack, chair of the Music department. "Whether you enjoy vocal or instrumental music, there's something here for everyone."

All concerts are in the Mainstage Theatre, unless otherwise indicated.
