Call for Nominations to Run for CCU's Board of Directors

GURNEE - Consumers Credit Union is now accepting nominations for members to run for its board of directors.

Candidates must include their name, address and daytime and evening phone numbers in order to be considered. Candidates must meet the nomination policy requirement to be eligible. The deadline for applying is 5 p.m. Oct. 31, with election to be held at the CCU's annual meeting on March 11, 2020.

Those elected to the board will serve a three-year term.

"The ability to serve on our all-volunteer board of directors is a privilege unique to credit unions," said Sean M. Rathjen, CCU President/CEO. "Our board consists of 13 members who come from many different backgrounds. This diversity ensures we explore opportunities and challenges from numerous points of view."

Members interested in applying to serve on CCU's board should send a statement of intent via email to Board@myconsumers.org, or by mail to Consumers Cooperative Credit Union, Attention: Nominating Committee, 1075 Tri-State Pkwy, Gurnee, IL. 60031-1811.
