Huntley Lions to serve up pancake breakfast Sept. 21

The Huntley Area Lions Club (formerly the Lions of Sun City) will host its 13th annual Pancake Breakfast in conjunction with the Huntley Fall Fest. The event will be 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Cosman Center cafeteria, 12015 Mill St.

The Lions Club International motto is "We Serve" and club members will be "serving up" a breakfast.

Tickets are $7. It is free for children, 12 or younger, when accompanied by a paid adult.

Come and enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, link sausages, apple sauce, juice, coffee, tea or milk. New this year are fall door prizes for adults and the kiddies. Come support the Lions Club and join in the fun!

Tickets are for sale in advance from any Huntley Area Lions Club member and will be available at the door. For information, contact Lion Pam Palmer at (815) 970-7259.

The Huntley Area Lions Club holds fundraisers throughout the year in order to donate all the money back to worthy charities or to the public through our charitable projects. Lions are all volunteers and are never paid. In 2018-19, over $15,000 in cash donations were disbursed locally, statewide and worldwide.
