Community service has always been a part of the holiday season for Wynstone families. In addition to participating in the Adopt-a-Family program to bring Christmas joy to those Lake County residents in need through Catholic Charities, there is the annual Holiday Tea which is open to the public (advance reservations are required).

This year's Holiday Tea will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. While the Tea has evolved over time, the heartfelt purpose has been steadfast: All proceeds benefit Catholic Charities programs in Lake County.

Wynstone resident and club member, Tae Haider-Krebs, along with Jackie Cantwell, Wynstone's Catering Director, work with Catholic Charities to organize the Holiday Tea fundraiser. It is a day of holiday shopping, optional workshops, raffle and silent auction, fashion show featuring McLaughlin of Lake Forest, and High Tea. Guests choose in advance a tea time seating of 10:30 am or 1:00 pm.

Returning guests will immediately notice Wynstone's new look. Katherine Elizabeth Designs has been directing the interior transformation to a more contemporary, luxurious Clubhouse. Guests will enjoy sweet to savory tea fare from Executive Chef Andre Skula who was promoted earlier this year after many years of Wynstone service. Chef Andre has stepped up the culinary experience for the membership and looks forward to doing the same for this year's High Tea guests.

Be sure to kick-off the holiday season by gathering your friends to enjoy friendship, fashion, and tea fare at this year's Holiday Tea at The Club at Wynstone.

Event is $65/ticket; tables of 10 to 12 are available. Please make your reservation online at www.catholiccharities.net (regional events) or contact Angie Sage at 847-782-4119.

The Club at Wynstone is a premiere, private club located inside the Wynstone residential, gated community in North Barrington and owned by a private investment group comprised of 9 Wynstone families. This year The Club at Wynstone celebrated its 30th anniversary of being a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Golf Course; only 30 of Nicklaus' 450 courses have this distinction.
