Centro de Información's annual gala to celebrate 'Many Peoples, One Nation' Oct. 12

Centro de Información will host its annual benefit gala and auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Villa Olivia in Bartlett.

Tickets, sponsorship information, and raffle tickets are now available at centro19.givesmart.com.

This year's event, with the theme, "Many Peoples, One Nation Celebration," will celebrate the beauty of diversity and togetherness found in true community.

It will be a festive evening of delicious food, live music, cash prize drawings, and live and silent auctions.

With help from hundreds of guests, sponsors, and donors, Centro hopes to meet its goal of raising $140,000 to support its vital work.

In 2018, Centro's dedicated staff served more than 11,000 clients across three locations. It has been identified as a "first stop" on the journey to American citizenship and is pleased to offer a host of other services including: citizenship workshops, immigration services, parenting classes, translation assistance, an emergency food pantry, job fairs, health screenings, and weekly educational seminars.

These are only a few examples of the many ways in which Centro supports immigrant and Hispanic neighbors.

Event tickets, advertising opportunities, and several levels of sponsorships are available now at centro19.givesmart.com.

Individual tickets start at $100; sponsorship prices vary. Donations in any amount are always welcome.

Sponsorship levels are:

• Platinum for $10,000: Table for 10 guests, plus a full page premier ad placement in gala program, sponsor listing in program, premium signage recognition at event, top billing in all event marketing, featured on Centro and GiveSmart websites and Centro's social media, premium table placement.

• Diamond for $7,500: Table for 10 guests, plus a full page premier ad placement in gala program, sponsor listing in program, signage recognition at event, top billing in all event marketing, featured on Centro and GiveSmart websites and Centro's social media, premium table placement.

• Gold for $5,000: Table for 10 guests, plus a full page ad in gala program, sponsor listing in program, signage recognition at event, included in Reflejos ads, featured on GiveSmart website and Centro's social media.

• Silver: Table for 10 guests, plus a half page ad in gala program, sponsor listing in program, signage recognition at event, included in Reflejos ads, featured on GiveSmart websites and Centro's social media.

• Bronze: Table for 10 guests, plus a quarter page ad in gala program, sponsor listing in program, signage recognition at event, included in Reflejos ads, featured on GiveSmart website.

All proceeds will benefit Centro de Información and its work at its three locations: 1885 Lin Lor Lane, Elgin; 611 E. Main St., East Dundee; and 2380 Glendale Terrace, Unit 8, Hanover Park.

The nonprofit social services agency, founded in 1972, provides bilingual advocacy . It serves mostly low-income, Hispanic immigrants residing in the greater Fox Valley area, but they welcome clients of any nationality from surrounding counties and states.
