Bear Family Restaurants host 'Frozen Drinks With a Firefighter' in Bloomingdale

Customers and community members of the Bloomingdale McDonald's on Stratford Drive were treated to a complimentary frozen drinks on Tuesday, Aug. 27, in an event called "Frozen Drinks with a Firefighter."

During this event, firefighters, along with paramedics and EMTs from the Bloomingdale Fire Department, made and served frozen drinks to the patrons of the restaurant.

The Bloomingdale McDonald's, owned and operated by David Bear of the Bear Family Restaurants, is honored to take part in community-building events like these. Bear truly enjoys being part of events that engage the local fire department with the community.

"We are proud of the role we have maintained in Bloomingdale over the years, and we are happy to see the community and the Bloomingdale Fire department enjoying frozen drinks together. This is a great way for the community to enjoy the end of summer while engaging with team of bloomingdale firefighters and paramedics."

The Bear family would like to thank Deputy Chief Richard Kurka, who contributed to the coordination of the "Frozen Drinks with a Firefighter" event.

The Bear family also would like to thank all of the firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs that attended this event, made and served frozen drinks, and took pictures with the community members.
