New Organ Dedication Concert Series For Saint Matthew Lutheran Church and School, Hawthorn Woods, IL

In May of 2019, the congregation of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church & School in Hawthorn Woods had installed a brand new,

3 manual Rodgers Infinity 361 state of the art digital organ in their sanctuary. Triune Music of Elmhurst, Illinois had installed the organ as well as voiced it with it's first public us at the church's Ascension Day Service on May 31st, 2019.

The congregation of Saint Matthew's is very much excited about the new organ in the sanctuary where it is heard each weekend at their services played by their Principal Organist, Mr. Michael Gagne.

To celebrate the new organ, Saint Matthew Lutheran Church & School is offering free concerts in the upcoming months that the community is invited to.

On Saturday, September 7th from 10:00am - 12:00pm, world renown International Concert Artist, published composer,

and Rodgers Tonal Director, Mr. Dan Miller will give a workshop for local organist's free of charge on the church's new organ.

Sunday, September 8th at 3pm, Dan Miller will perform a free organ recital that will officially kick off the New Organ Dedication Recital Series.

Sunday, September 29th, Dr. Steven Wente, Distinguished Professor of Music from Concordia University, Chicago, will be giving a recital at Saint Matthew's at 3pm.

Sunday, October 27th, Saint Matthew's Principal Organist,

Mr. Michael Gagne will be the performing artist and will include a variety of organ music as well as a few hymns for the audience to participate in.

"The new Rodgers Infinity 361 is such an inspiring and uplifting instrument. It is an absolute joy and an incredible blessing to be able to play this wonderful organ each weekend at our services." Says Gagne.

All of the events are free and open to the public.
