Cricket Theatre Company to stage 'Matilda'

Join a lively, high-octane production by Cricket Theatre Company featuring a talented young cast of offbeat teachers and "revolting" children with comic bite performing a rousing score of spirited song and dance numbers.

"Matilda" is the story of an extraordinary girl armed with a vivid imagination, sharp wit and astonishing psychokinetic powers. Matilda dares to take a stand, changes her own destiny and becomes the school's saving grace.

Tickets are available at the door for $10. Performances are at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20, and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at the Lake Zurich Performing Arts Center, 300 Church St., Lake Zurich
