Fox Valley Area Anglers to welcome kayak fishing expert Brian Schiller

This season, the Fox Valley Area Anglers, a multispecies fishing club, is hosting 10 tournaments and additional fishing outings from April through October.

The club meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Tap House Grill, 3341 W. The monthly programs features speakers who cover a variety of topics.

This month's meeting, on Tuesday, July 23, will feature Brian Schiller. He is one of the co-hosts for a kayak fishing podcast called "Paddle N' Fin." He is a well known speaker who has conducted many seminars on kayak fishing.

In "Paddle N' Fin," Schiller and co-host Jay Randal talk about fishing, kayaking and the outdoors. They are longtime fisherman who have entered into the kayak fishing world. They try to cover all aspects of the outdoors community, for beginner or advanced anglers.

Schiller will be bringing a fully rigged fishing kayak into the meeting room. Come to the meeting even if you think that kayaking is not for you. You may be able to pass information on to your friends and family.
