Dodgeball youth tournament in Schaumburg July 12

The Schaumburg Park District's Dodgeball Days Youth Outdoor Tournament will be held Friday, July 12, at Olympic Park, 1675 Old Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.

Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. and matches begin at 10:30 a.m.

Players must be in fourth through sixth grade or seventh through eighth grade in the 2019-2020 school year. Teams must consist of six to 10 players and can be coed or made up of all boys or all girls.

"Dodgeball is a fun sport that allows children to be active and work as a team," Athletics Supervisor Nick Kuta said.

Each participant will receive a T-shirt and prizes will be awarded to the top winning teams.

Registration is available at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way in Schaumburg. The deadline is Friday, July 5. For information, call (847) 985-2143 or visit parkfun.com.
