Hampshire Art Contest winners announced

The winners for the third annual Resource Bank Eakin Schoolhouse Art Contest are announced.

Three local students from Hampshire area schools were chosen to have their artwork on display for one year in the Eakin Schoolhouse Community Room. The theme of this year's art contest was "What Can I Do For My Community?", and each winner received recognition for their work and a $50 gift card.

The winners were Noah Howard, second-grader at Hampshire Elementary School; Brisa Osorio, fifth-grader at Golfview Elementary; and Alayna Dieckman, seventh-grader at Hampshire Middle School.

The Eakin Schoolhouse Community Room is located at the Resource Bank Hampshire Branch, 135 W. Oak Knoll Drive, Hampshire.

Local community residents, nonprofit groups, and civic and service organization are welcome to use this space free of charge. For more information, contact Caroline Toomey, branch manager, (847) 792-8080.
